A Deeper Walk with God

Man With Bible2

Mike was looking for resources to help him grow in faith when he came across Groundwork’s offer to download the free e-book Seven Deadly Sins.

It was just what he was looking for. “Thank you for providing me with a way to have an even deeper walk with the Lord,” Mike wrote. “And for making your help free!” he added.

Groundwork, produced by ReFrame Media, a ministry of ReFrame Ministries in partnership with Words of Hope, offers a weekly half-hour radio program and podcast that help listeners build biblical foundations for life. As hosts, Rev. Scott Hoezee and Rev. David Bast guide casual teaching conversations about substantive Bible passages and faith issues.

“We wrote study guides for a popular audio series and compiled them into an e-book,” explains Groundwork producer Courtney Jacob. “The response has been encouraging.”

Groundwork is just one of the ReFrame Media programs that have created and produced e-books. So far, a total of eight e-books have been offered by our family of six programs. Even more are being planned.

Our goal is to provide people with engaging resources for continued scripture study over a long period. Our hope is that they’ll look to ReFrame Media for more biblical guidance in living out their faith for years to come.

— Rev. Steven Koster, English Ministry Leader

More than 50,000 people have signed up to receive these e-books and subscribed to regular email updates from one or more of our programs. “That’s one of the purposes of the e-books,” says ReFrame Media director Rev. Steven Koster, “to give media users a taste of what they can expect from each program. They not only provide a bit of ministry, but they also introduce new people to our ministry and help us grow our audiences.”

Many of the new followers, who came from our Groundwork audience, now have information about our Kids Corner program for children; Family Fire, a social media ministry to strengthen marriages and family; the Today daily devotional; and our Think Christian blog for those who want to join a conversation about faith and culture.

Rev. Koster adds, “Our goal is to provide people with engaging resources for continued scripture study over a long period. Our hope is that they’ll look to ReFrame Media for more biblical guidance in living out their faith for years to come.”

One woman, who discovered Family Fire when she found the e-book 10 Rules for Fair Fighting, wrote, “This was awesome! I found it helpful, and I will be putting to practice the ‘rules’ from here on out. I'm going to share this at church with my pastor. You all have made it easy to read, understand, and use.”
