The Memoirs of a Traveling Pastor
Author Xuede Fan was once a devoted scholar of Communism who turned to Christianity after encountering hardships in life. He approached Christianity with trepidation, spending three and a half years critiquing the religious thought before unexpectedly finding answers to the questions of life within Scripture. He quickly received a call to write and preach.
Xuede Fan has been actively engaged in the Chinese internet sphere, where he has witnessed the rise, peak, and subsequent regulation and suppression of online evangelism, and accumulated extensive experience along the way. Over the years, he has traveled to many countries, building friendships with people from diverse cultural backgrounds while spreading the gospel. This book chronicles, in essay form, the author's journey through online evangelism and church ministry. It includes insights into the faith journeys of friends, the author's own personal life stories, anecdotes from preaching trips, and captivating descriptions of the unique natural landscapes encountered along the way.

But if I say, “I will not mention his word or speak anymore in his name,” his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot.
— Jeremiah 20:9
