What They Intended for Harm, God Intended for Good

It wasn't an accident. Before the burning tiles were thrown onto the roof, the arsonists had turned off the water source to the church, making it impossible to extinguish the fire.

Then they started the fire.

Within hours, the church in West Africa was reduced to ashes. The people who set the fire thought they'd had the last word. They didn't want Christians in their town and this proved it.

But God had a different plan, just like He did when Joseph's brothers sold him into slavery.

"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives." - Genesis 50:20

Even without a building, that church has grown. Neighbors have stopped in to help. People are seeking grace and forgiveness in action. The hope of Jesus is there. No fire could destroy it.

Take a stand for the Gospel

This tragedy in one of the areas we serve is a reminder of how much opposition there is to the Gospel in places like China, Indonesia, and Muslim-majority countries in West Africa—and how critical your support is.

Will you stand with your brothers and sisters facing opposition today? Will you make sure that even in areas where persecution is real, seekers have access to the Gospel?

Share the Gospel!

We can't reach communities like this in West Africa and around the world without your help. Your support makes these radio ministries possible. Thank you!
